Vita Saluti Steel Factory Inaugurated in Central Ethiopia Region
Vita Saluti Manufacturing PLC, a sister company of Harot Real Estate, has inaugurated its steel factory in Gurage Zone, EZA Woreda, built with over 600 million birr in capital investment.

Vita Saluti Manufacturing PLC, a private limited company established to help close Ethiopia's industrial gap, has commenced operations in EZA Woreda, Gurage Zone, Central Ethiopia Region. The company is a proud sister company of Harot Real Estate and part of the Harot Group.
This major factory was built with over 600 million birr in capital investment. The inauguration program highlighted its capacity to manufacture tubular and lamellar steel products in various sizes and shapes to high quality standards, using modern technology.
With the manufacturing plant now moving into full production, the factory is expected to create broad employment opportunities for the local community. It was established with the aim of helping meet the country's growing demand for steel products over time.
Central Ethiopia Regional President Endashaw Tassew said that the establishment and commissioning of large manufacturing factories such as Vita Saluti brings multifaceted benefits for domestic economic growth and the revitalization of the industrial sector.
Vita Saluti Manufacturing CEO Yosef Mehadie described the project as one that awakens investment in the area and the wider region.
It was announced that the factory will create direct employment for 123 people and indirect employment opportunities for many more citizens.
